Overview
The wall of the fort comes into view long before one
reaches Kumbhalgarh, a garrison-city of Rajasthan
made famous in the fifteenth century. its
36-kilometre long unbroken wall has been hailed as
the Great Wall of India, second only to the Great
Wall of China. Today, the Aodhi Hotel has made it
possible for visitor to step back into time and
enter the medieval world of Rajput chivalry and
valour. Kumbhalgarh - named after the legendry
Maharana of Mewar, Rana Kumbha - is just two hours
drive from Udaipur, but, as a perceptive visitor
