Day 01 |
Delhi / Silver Sand Leave Delhi by 6:00 am. Arrive
at Camp by lunch. Later raft the initiation stretch. We
encounter rapids ranging from Grade 1- 3, namely, "Three
Blind Mice", "Cross Fire", "Bodysurfing" etc. Drive back
to camp for tea followed by beach volleyball, campfire and
dinner. Camp overnight. |

Day 02 |
Silver Sand After breakfast drive downstream to
raft the second section of the river. This is the best
white water section on the Ganges with rapids like "Return
to Sender", "Roller Coaster", "Golf Course", "Club House",
"Cash Flow", "Double Trouble" etc. Drive back to camp for
lunch. Afternoon free for volleyball, birdwatching, a
small hike or just lazing about. Campfire dinner and
overnight in camp. |

Day 03 |
Silver Sand / Delhi After breakfast, drive upstream
to raft the third section of the river. Back in camp for a
late lunch. Depart for Delhi
IDEAL SEASON : Mid-September to mid-May.
NOTE:- 1) The above itinerary can be altered to
meet specific requirements/can be incorporated into a 1-2
day schedule, even during
week days.
2) The above itinerary may vary depending on river
levels.
3) Children below 14 years may be allowed to raft
certain stretches, only at the discretion of the river
guide, depending on water level.
4) NO HARD SHELLS, PLEASE. For weekend /
weekday trips too, do carry soft baggage as far as
possible.
5) Consumption of alcohol or drugs is not permitted
upto 6 hours before or during a raft trip. We hold the
right to cancel any arrangements held for a passenger
found to be under the influence of alcohol without any
refunds.
6) All meals are served at a central dining area -
including tea, coffee (twice a day) and soft drinks. There
is no room service.
7) Accommodation - We offer Deluxe tents (beds,
mattresses and quilts are provided) on twin share. Each
tent is furnished with 2 camp cots, a table, two cane
chairs. There are separate Toilet tents with dry-pit
toilets with western style commodes over a pit (in sync
with the Reserved Forest Camping Regulations.
8 ) Activities in camp : Beside rafting one
could kayak on a placid stretch near the camp or opt for
hike to a typical village opposite the camp or even go for
longer hikes (5-6hrs) in the surrounding hills. Facilities
are available for Beach games like volleyball, frisbee,
tennis ball cricket etc. A day in camp is usually rounded
off with a campfire and a leisurely evening with fellow
rafters sharing your experiences. |

Day 01 |
Arrive Delhi A warm welcome on arrival and transfer
to hotel. Overnight at the hotel. |

Day 02
|
Delhi / Dibrugarh Transfer to airport for flight to
Dibrugarh. Assistance on arrival and transfer to your
hotel. Overnight at the hotel. |

Day 03 |
Dibrugarh / Dinjan After breakfast drive to Dinjan
and then take a Helicopter ride to Tuting. |

Day 04 |
Tuting / Ninguing Initiation. You will be
introduced to your instructor this morning. Raft on the
river till Ninguing. |

Day 05 |
Ninguing / Pango Raft from Ninguing to Pango. Camp
overnight. |
|
Day 06 |
Pango / Rikor Raft from Pango to Rikor. Camp for
overnight stay. |

Day 07
|
Rikor / Alubadi Raft from Rikor to Alubadi. Camp
overnight. |

Day 08 |
Alubadi / Yinkeong Raft Alubadi to Yinkeong. Camp
overnight. |

Day 09 |
Yinkeong / Geku Raft from Yinkeong to Geku. Camp
overnight. |

Day 10 |
Geku / Yambung Raft from Geku to Yambung. Camp
overnight. |

Day 11 |
Yambung / Ponging Raft Yambung to Ponging . Camp
overnight. |

Day 12 |
Ponging / Pasighat Raft from Ponging to Pasighat.
Check-in at a Rest House / Hotel. Overnight stay at the
Rest House / hotel. |

Day 13 |
Pasighat / Dibrugarh Drive from Pasighat to
Dibrugarh and check-in at a hotel. Overnight stay at the
hotel. |

Day 14
|
Dibrugarh / Delhi Transfer to airport for flight to
Delhi.Assistance on arrival and later transfer to
international for flight back home.
Note: If helicopter flights to Tuting are not
available, it will mean a drive of ¾ days to Tuting /
Pango. Members of the expedition are requested to help in
setting up camp and with meals. Also only essentials need
to be carried in order to keep the rafts light and
maneuverable. |
