You can extend the sightseeing trip for one more day if you want. The trek begins from Lukla after a short fly to Lukla from Kathmandu. Lukla airport, Lukla town, Phakding, Namche Bazar, Hotel Everest View, Khumjung village etc. are major attractions of halfway of the Everest Base Camp Trek including other natural beauties, stunning scenery of Khumbu, forests, rivers and mighty mountains. Day 4 Trek from Phakding to Namche Bazaar: 5-6 Hours

Day 6 Trek from Namche Bazaar to Tengboche: 5 - 6 hours trek

Day 11  Trek to Kalapatthar (5,643 m) and fly back to Lukla 4-hour hike and 25 min flight

Day 12  Fly to Kathmandu from Lukla: 30 min flight
